      • 1614 brachte der Ingolstädter Jesuit Christoph Scheiner (1573-1650) seine Disquisitiones Mathematicae heraus, worin er Marius als Calvinisten bezeichnete, der sich nur wichtig mache (S. 78). In dem dreiseitigen Anhang verteidigt sich Marius gegen diese Schmähung.
